Why use Elixirs instead of Draughts?
This question is usually asked by many, and the simple answer to that is better survivability, more flexibility for perfumes and crystalsand more damage.
When to use Elixirs?
This is usually up to the player when they think its wise to start using elixirs. But the basic idea of when its worth using it would be in end game spots where it requires 309+ap and 401+dp, this is cause the ap brackets after 309 gives very little ap and there is no more bracket after 401dp.
How do I get Elixirs?
The only 2 ways to get Elixirs would be to Craft them from the Alchemy Lifeskill or to Place an order for them on the Central Market.
Which Elixirs do I use? Party? Blue? Green?
Usually Blue Party Elxirs are the default to use. Blue Elixirs have a higher stat buff over Green. Then why Party over Normal? Cause when making them into party, you have a very high chance of proccing 2 Party Elixirs from the process. On average, you would get 26mins with of Blue Party Elixirs from 1 set which is 16mis of Blue Elixirs.
PVE Elixirs
Elixir of Lethal Destruction
Extra All Special Attack Damage +2%
- This Elixir isn't very important in a simple Elixir Rotation and can be left out to save cost if you aren't planning on fully min-maxing the grind
Elixir of Strong Shock
Critical Hit +3
- Allows you to hit max Critical Level without the need of crystals for it, opening extra slots for other uses
- Since some people use Spirit Perfume Elixirs to hit max Critical Level, this also opens up the perfume slot to either use Deep Sea or Courage for more damage
Strong Griffon's Elixir
Extra Damage to Kamasylvian Monsters +17
- Gives you more Kamasyvian Species Damage and is useful when grinding mobs of that species (Dehkia Thornwood, Oluns, Crypt of Resting Thoughts. However isn't needed unless min-maxing due to its difficulty to obtain
Elixir of Overwhelming Endurance
Max Stamina +150
- Recomended use at Olun's Valley since u would need to travel a long distance pack to pack and may need the extra stamina
Elixir of Brutal Carnage
Down Attack Damage +15%
- Recomended use at Crypt of Resting Thoughts and Dehkia Thornwood since the mobs there can be knocked down and have down attack dealt to them.
Elixir of Steel Defense
All Damage Reduction +10
- Recomended use if u need to be more tanky (usually every spot you wanna use elixirs at)
- Also helps regain the DP loss when using Elixir of Endless Frenzy
Grim Sould Reaper's Elixir
Recover +3 HP per hit
- Recomended use in every elixir rotation
- Helps sustain and recover HP for classes with low or no HP recovery skills
Elixir of Strong Life
Max HP +150
- Recomended using in most elixir rotations
- The extra bit of HP could help surviving hard hits from some mobs
Elixir of Endless Fury
All AP +8
- Does not stack with Elixir of Endless Frenzy
- Budget replacement for Elixir of Endless Frenzy or if you cant afford to lose the DP loss
Elixir of Remarkable Will
Damage Received from Monsters -10%
- Makes you tanky from mob hits
- Don't underestimate -10%, this is the main elixir that makes you tanky in PVE. The difference is night and day when having it on and not
Elixir of Advanced Concentration
All Accuracy +12
- Recomended use in all Elixir Rotations
- Unless you have accuracy accessories, you would usually need this elixir to get enough accuracy for the spot over using accuracy crystals as well
Elixir of Shrap Detection
Critical Hit Damage +15%
- Recomended use in all Elixir Rotations
- This is the main reason Elixirs do more damage than Draughts (only 10% from Frenzy/Giant Draughts)
Elixir of Lethal Assassin
Back Attack Damage +15%
- Recomended use in back attack grind spots (Oluns), or for min-maxing grinds)
- Another reason Elixirs do more damage than Draughts (only 10% from Giant Draught)
Brutal Death Elixir
Defense Nullifying Damage +10 per Critical Hit
- Defense Nullifying Damage = Pure Damage
- Recomended in spots where the mobs have a lower health pool where it would make a difference (Dehkia Thornwood, Crypt of Resting Thoughts, Tungrad Ruins, City of the Dead), but mostly for min-maxing the grind
Elixir of Brutal Perforation
Defense Nullifying Damage +10 per Back Attack
- Defense Nullifying Damage = Pure Damage
- Same situation as Brutal Death Elixirs, usually for min-maxing
Fierce Demihuman Hunting Elixir
Extra Damage to Kamasylvian Monsters +17
- Gives you more Demihuman Species Damage and is useful when grinding mobs of that species (Dehkia Cyclops, Tungrad Ruins).
Elixir of Strong Draining
Recover +5 HP per Critical Hit
- Recomended use in most elixir rotations
- Helps sustain and recover more HP if Grim Soul Reaper isn't enough
Elixir of Endless Frenzy
All DP -8
All AP +13
- Does not stack with Elixir of Endless Fury
- Gives the most AP out of all the elixirs
- Recomended use in most elixir rotations (only if you can't afford the DP loss)
Elixir of Perfect Human Hunt
Extra Damage to Humans +17
- Gives you more Human Species Damage and is useful when grinding mobs of that species or when doing some pvp while grinding in Arsha.
TLDR:
I know some of you guys r too lazy to read the whole thing, so this are the types of Elixirs you would run in different situations
